Sarah Falkiner is Chicago-based indie filmmaker, writer and director. She started Shytown Sugar Films in 2018 and the first film completed was “Freedom.” She loves to work with a creative collective of talented filmmakers, writers, actors and open-minded folks that want to write, create, make films and have fun.

Shytown Sugar Films strives to produce short films that are genuine, and authentic on a shoestring budget that punch viewers in the metaphorical gut or pull on the heart strings.  Think Lifetime channel deep fried with healthy side of Grit.
